Will Moore BSc, MA, PhD, FIET, CEng

Will Moore works at Oxford University; he is a Lecturer in the Department of Engineering Science, the Senior Engineering Fellow at Jesus College and the Academic Director of the Telecoms and Engineering Programme in the Department for Continuing Education. He has a BSc from Bristol University and a PhD from Cambridge University.

Will has been involved with the design of fault-tolerant and self-testing systems since 1971 when he worked on control systems for Concorde at British Aerospace, and moved on to research into ASICs for DSP and the testing of electronic circuits in 1982 while he taught at Southampton University. He has regularly acted as a consultant to industry and has specialised in running workshops and presenting short courses for industry. He is the author of numerous technical papers and editor of 11 books based on workshops he has organised on specialised topics in electronics and CAD, several of which sparked off continuing annual events.
